Our Team Jim Lisy   |   Mike Harding   |   Matt Griswold   |   Martin Rizzo   |   Mike Boeckman   |   Laura Brodbeck   |   Extended Team Jim Lisy, Managing Director Jim has more than 25 years of operating and capital markets experience, beginning with Reliance Electric Company, where as a member of the management team that acquired the company from Exxon, he worked on post-acquisition restructuring and the development and implementation of an LBO exit strategy that culminated in an initial public offering in 1992. Immediately following the IPO of Reliance, he joined a Cleveland-based boutique as an investment banker where he specialized in sell-side and buy-side M&A. He has held several positions in strategic planning and accounting, managed the international treasury function, and coordinated numerous capital markets transactions involving foreign exchange, equity and interest rate futures/options management. His deal experience covers numerous middle market transactions involving diverse industries and geographies. Jim is a registered Series 7-General Securities Representative and a Series 24-General Securities Principal with an affiliated broker-dealer, Cohen Capital, Ltd. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a member of the Cleveland Society of Security Analysts, and the Association for Corporate Growth. Jim serves as a member of the Business Advisory Council for the Kent State School of Business. Jim received his degree in Economics and Political Science at Kent State University and an MBA in Finance from Case Western Reserve University.
