His down to earth style helps clients feel comfortable in what can be a daunting and fast-pasted environment. Mike started his career at Cohen & Company where he worked with corporate and individual clients on a wide range of accounting, tax and business strategic planning services. His broad accounting background has allowed him to easily transition to his investment banking role. In addition, Mike is the primary liaison with Glengary, LLC, a venture catalyst enterprise in which Cohen & Company is a service partner and investor. In this capacity, he helps early stage companies execute their business plan. Mike is a registered Series 7-General Securities Representative and Series 24-General Securities Principal with Cohen Capital, Ltd. He is a Certified Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA), a member of the Alliance of Mergers & Acquisitions Advisors (AM&AA), the Association for Corporate Growth, the Ohio Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of CPAs. An active member of the Rotary Club of Cleveland, he is currently serving as President for the 2007-08 year. Mike is also very involved with The Cathedral of St. John Catholic parish. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the University of Akron in 1992.
